The purpose of this site is to introduce the Japanese Naval and Army Vessels during the Pacific War. The main contents are Tokusetsukansen. Tokusetsukansen mean temporary naval vessels. Almost all ships were requisitioned merchant ships, but a few governmental ships and seized enemy ships were also in service. There are a lot of sites, which introduce the Japanese Naval Vessels. However there are few sites, which introduce Tokusetsukansen. Even if a site introduces Tokusetsukansen, its contents include only a few famous Tokusetsukansen. Existing publications are as well. I longed to know all of Tokusetsukansen. It is my great pleasure to know that this site will be helpful to you.
